What is Expected of CPL Scholars:
As a CPL Scholar, we expect you to:

Uphold the Values of Climb Pause Lift: Consistently strive for excellence in your personal, academic, and professional pursuits, while remembering to pause and lift those around you.

Community Engagement: Participate in ongoing community events, networking opportunities, and initiatives designed to foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Serve as an Ambassador: Represent the CPL Scholars program both within your local community and beyond, demonstrating the impact that such a supportive, forward-thinking initiative can have.

Mentor Future Scholars: After completing your own journey, pay it forward by mentoring incoming CPL Scholars, sharing your experiences, and guiding them through their challenges.

Olivia Pichardo
The first woman to play NCAA Division I baseball, Olivia walked onto Brown’s varsity team as a freshman and made history — earning the Power of Sport Award and a place for her batting helmet in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. A member of the USA Women’s National Baseball Team since 2022, she helped the U.S. capture Silver at the 2024 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup.
She served two years as a teaching assistant in entrepreneurship, completed a rotational internship with Morgan Stanley in 2024, and has been an Athlete Ambassador for the Women’s Sports Foundation since 2023. Olivia will join Morgan Stanley in 2027 after a fifth year of D-I eligibility, pursuing her goal of becoming a Financial Advisor.
Olivia will be deferring her role at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Planning VEA to play Division 1 Softball at UC Berkeley for her final year of eligibility, following four years of varsity baseball at Brown University. While at Berkeley, Olivia will pursue Professional Certificate Diplomas in both Business Administration and Entrepreneurship."
Gracie Bolick
A captain of UNC Track and Field, Gracie ranked among the program’s top ten all-time in the hammer and weight throw and is a multi-year All-ACC Academic honoree. She interned with Gould Killian CPA and Morgan Stanley before joining Morgan Stanley full time as a Wealth Management Rotational Analyst.
Through her fellowship with Team IMPACT, she coordinates events pairing children facing serious illness with college athletes. Her goal: a career as a financial advisor in the global sports and entertainment space.

Avery Wissmar
An Honors graduate of Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, three-time NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and captain of the varsity softball team, Avery supported MBA faculty research in behavioral finance and completed a senior honors thesis. After a 10-month internship with Morgan Stanley’s Capitol Wealth Management Group, she joined the firm’s Fox, Penberthy & Dehn team in Mt. Laurel, NJ — a highly regarded practice serving high-net-worth clients.
Noelle DeMarinis
Captain of Columbia’s varsity lacrosse team, Noelle served as Co-President and Ivy League Representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and was active across orientation leadership, the Columbia Athletics Finance Society, and Team IMPACT. After a Wealth Management Summer Analyst internship at Morgan Stanley in 2024, she joined the firm full time as a Wealth Management Rotational Analyst. Her career goal is to join a growing wealth management team as a financial advisor.
